This project entailed a total redesign of the property. Starting from a brownstone with exposed brick walls and plywood subfloors, we worked with our clients to craft two distinctive residences with the property - a 2nd, and 3rd floor duplex and a garden level and 1st floor duplex - each with their own unique narrative a details. The Bottom duplex aimed to feel like an open artists loft - painted exposed joists, contrasted with rich, warm natural oak flooring. Artisinal concrete floor tiles in the bathroom, contrasted with simple white handmade ceramic tiles on walls - all to create an authentic and hand-made feel.
